38 Class Paint Samples

Last seven painted 38 class bodies have arrived and we now have received all 13 paint schemes. These are being checked and when we have confirmed the 13 liveries painting of the bodies will commence. Assembly will commence when the painting stage is finished.
Photos will be up on the web-site shortly.

Thant's good news. Let's hope that they got them all correct so that there aren't any further delays. I'm looking forward to see the photos.

Cheers,

Peter

Mr Anonymous is busy with the keyboard. Or is it a thing with with more than one persona? Meaning Anonymous is a family name perhaps and the whole family is posting.

Quote: "I heard the CPH then NR A and B and the S and 42 are schudled before the 38 when does that put the delivery for the 38 sept/oct at the earliest"

Opinion: Cobblers.

Production of Auscision or TrainO models does not necessarily affect the production schedule of models from Eureka. The Sandakan factory is not a backyard outfit that has to delay production of one project to do another.

I can sympathise with your impatience guy(s). I have been waiting just as long as you. However, at this stage with delivery close to hand suggest a month or two more to wait is bearable. My punt for what it is worth (not much) is April or May.

Ron would not know any better than that so no use hounding him. I think the people at the factory could do with some schooling in customer relations - letting their customers know what is happening - but not much we can do about that.

Hang in there because it will not be long now.

Best regards,
John

Anonymous,

Ron can track you down through you IP address if he wants and then Ron can extract his terrible revenge.

I am sure Ron wants a return on his investment, which might be a little more $$$ than yours, just as quickly as you want your 38.

This blog is designed to act as a vehicle for passing up to date information on projects as such information comes to hand. It is not designed to provide over-all project information which will still be carried out through The Eureka Times and the Eureka web site.
Comments on any matters raised on this blog are welcome but as has previously been advised anonymous postings to this blog will be removed and except perhaps in this case they will certainly not be answered.
The reason for this is simple, anyone wishing to make a comment should have the courage to put their name to it. The excuse that some how there might be some sort of retribution is arrant nonsense.
I will in time answer all serious comments related to items posted but anonymous postings which are largely drivel such as the one which suggests that the A and the B and various other projects are scheduled for production before the 38 and will therefore hold up its delivery conveniently overlooks the fact that the A and B projects are being made by a different company altogether are a waste of everyones time.
Postings containing snide remarks are also given a very low priority.
Thats my winge for the week, over to everyone else.

Can we please, please, please hear the sound samples? PLEASE. I'm dying to hear what the sound equiped models will sound like.

Eureka Models said...

As soon as I receive the sound files I will make them available but I do not expect them for around another eight weeks yet.

"This project is also nearing completion. Sound files are with the factory as is the artwork. The factory is also threatening to delivery this project in January but in view of the likely delivery of the above two projects we are asking for a March/April delivery for this project."
Quoted from the November 2007 Newsletter, any wonder people are feeling misled.

Hmm okay another 8 or so weeks. Cheers, Ron. Im sure it will be worth the wait, however, it has been a long one.

One quick question,
in terms of delivery of non-sound models vs. sound models. Will they be delivered separately, and if so what sort of a delay do you expect between the two variations? (Just wondering if i'll have to wait longer because i've ordered sound equiped models."

P.S. Cheers for responding quickly to my last post.

Both sound and non-sound versions of the 38s are expected to arrive together.
A sound equipped pre-production 38was received over a year ago for review and as normal was returned to QSI and the sound files were subsequently released to the manufacturer.
The next model that I expect to receive with sound will be from the production run.

Just one quick question Ron, Have you signed off on the paint samples yet?
